Winchester Bay is located in the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area and is a vacationer’s paradise. We are home to miles of undisturbed beaches, abundant wildlife, lake and ocean fishing, hiking trails, plenty of campgrounds, a terrific place for the off-road riding fun for ATVers.

  • Old Time Fiddlers Jamboree

    The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers District 5 hosts more than 100 musicians and enthusiastic audiences from across the Pacific Northwest.  Fiddlers, guitars, banjos and mandolins play Country, Cajun, Swing, Bluegrass, Folk, Waltzes and old time tunes.  Participate in an open jam session – they’re offered all day long – and concerts at the Grange Hall daily at 6 p.m.  Admission by donation.  Sunday Gospel show closes the event at 11 a.m.

    Delight in Kool Coastal Nights, the Annual Winchester Bay Car Show. Cruise in on Friday and stay till Sunday for the classic car extravaganza.  Come check out hundreds of classics in the Show & Shine, enjoy the Parade of Champions and the Harbor Cruise along with vendors, good food and live music.

  • Salmon Derby

    Winchester Bay Boat Launch

    August 31 - September 1, 2019

    Daily prizes for biggest salmon sponsored by Gardiner/Reedsport S.T.E.P. (Salmon-Trout-Enhancement-Program).  This event is timed to coincide with the fall Chinook salmon run.  Local tackle shops have registration and rules.
